How do artist groups apply?
Artist groups apply just like individuals. Each group requires an application form, fee and images.
Should groups fill out a form for each member displaying at ArtWalk San Diego?
No. A group should turn in only one application in the name of the group. There should be one person to serve as liason and that person will be our primary contact for email communication about event logistics, etc.
What constitutes a “group”?
ArtWalk San Diego considers a group to be two or more artists who are part of a permanent artists’ group. Group participation in ArtWalk San Diego is limited to established, permanent artist groups. There are no exceptions.
How many images does a group have on its ArtWalk San Diego webpage?
The number of tents purchased by a group determines how many images they receive on their group artists’ page. A 10 X 20 tent allows for 6 images, 10 X 30 allows for 10 images, and 15 images for a 20 x 20.
How much does it cost for a group to apply?
Fees vary depending on the size of the group. For example, a 10′ x 20′ tent accommodating up to six members costs $940. A 20′ x 20′ tent for ten or more costs $1870. You will find a complete list of tent sizes and fees on the application form.
