San Diego’s Original Fine Art Festivals:
Up Next: Mission Fed ArtWalk, Virtual Edition – December 5-31, 2020
Our Little Italy festival is the longest-running and largest fine art festival in Southern California, going on 36 years in 2021. ArtWalk @ Liberty Station, November 7 & 8, proudly celebrates 15 years. Founded by local artists in 1984, the three annual fine art shows attract artists from across the globe, and art lovers travel to San Diego to immerse themselves in all things creative during these shows. Each offers a wide variety of fine art including paintings, sculpture, photography, glass work and so much more. Art buyers travel from distant cities to purchase artwork. ArtWalk @ Liberty Station is a 15-year tradition in San Diego, and in 2021, ArtWalk Carlsbad will celebrate its 3rd year.
The mission of the festivals remains the same as when the Little Italy event made its debut in 1984…to make the opportunity of collecting original artwork accessible to everyone. Each of the three events has its own unique palette of art and activities, and its own unique atmosphere/venue. Mark your calendar and plan to attend these unforgettable events. Once you visit our festivals, you’ll want to come each year to add to your art collection!
Artist applications are currently being accepted on Zapplication.org for all three of our 2021 shows. If spaces open for the November 2020 show, we will keep artists advised.
